MAIN FEATURES

  • The unit is built with Anodized Aluminium profiles and lacked steel panelling. Optionally, the panels can be made in stainless steel.

  • The air handling unit filters, dries, controls the outlet air process temperature, controls the humidity and blows the air inside the pan.
  • The drying of the air process is carried out by means of silica gel rotor or cooling coil, depending on the application.

APPLICATIONS

Air handling unit with silica gel rotor

  • It is used the silica gel rotor, to get an absolute humidity of 1.5 g/kg d.a.
  • The working principle is as follows:
    • The air process that has to be dries, pass through the 75% of the section of the silica gel rotor, where the moist is taken.
    • The silica gel rotor is continuously rotating.
    • Through the remaining 25% section of the silica gel rotor, is passing the air regeneration, that has been heated up to a fixed temperature, in function of the desired humidity. This regeneration air removes the moist from the silica gel rotor, that has been previously taken from the air process.
  • The air regeneration and the air process are go through three steps of filtration:  G4, F7 y F9.
  • The air process passes through a pre-cooler coil (in some extreme weather conditions, a pre-heater is needed) to remove part of the air moisture. A post-cooler and post-heater, mounted after the rotor, control the air process temperature, that is going to be introduced in the pan, according to the values of the recipe.
  • The air regeneration is heated up in a stainless steel coil (optionally can be used electrical resistances). In some applications, an energy recovery from the air regeneration outlet to the air regeneration inlet, can be carried out.
  • A high-pressure fan, with the motor directly coupled, blows the air through the unit to the pan.

Air handling unit with cooling coil

  • The cooling coil is used to get an absolute humidity of 5 g/kg d.a.
  • The air process that has to be dried, pass through a cooling coil, where is cooled down up 4/5ºC, removing the condensate water, through a stainless steel tray.
  • The air process goes through two steps of filtration: G4 y F7.
  • Then the air is passing through a heating coil (optionally can be made with electrical resistances), being the outlet temperature controlled by the recipe in the pan.
  • A high-pressure fan, with the motor directly coupled, blows the air through the unit to the pan.
